Vulture is based on a Marvel Comic villain name.  Hope you like it.  :)  I probably should go back in and add feet.  lol

April 2013 Topic--Super Hero Names

The topic is based on a Super Hero Name.  Think of an existing superhero that you like particularly their name and create a character based off of that.  So what would an Aquaman, Spiderman, Wolverine, Storm, etc look like if you were given no description of them other than their name?  Would Storm be an elemental of sorts?  Would Long-shot actually be a marksman and not a lady's man?   I figure this can be due towards the end of April.  Have fun!

Baby Dwarf

Here's my version of a fighting robot.  It doesn't look like much, but looks can be deceiving...watch out for that left hook!! :)

This is a referee robot for the rock-em sock-em fights. There is actually a human ref controlling the robot and monitoring the match from the helmet.

Here's the prelim sketch of my robot. Originally had him with one giant arm for smashing and a smaller delicate arm for detail-centric jobs but that looked a little awkward.

ROCK 'em SOCK 'em ROBOTS!! TOPIC #6

We all know the film 'Real Steel' that just came out, now it's time for us to design our own fighting robot!  How will your robot hold up in the ring? :)  If you don't want to design a robot, an environment where they fight in is cool too.

The Sweat is similar to the Flash in that he can run at blinding speeds. He gets sweat on his opponents. Also his toxic back hair that constantly sheds is like a kryptonite to anyone that it reaches. Beware of The Sweat!

Here's my villain. Work in progress but I think I'm burning out on this one so leaving it as is, will get back to it...

Wizard

Here's my take on a LoL Champion.  Think Doc. Brown from Back to the Future meets a Wizard from Harry Potter.  He's always brewing experimental potions and inventing new spells to use in battle...sometimes they turn out good...other times it's back to the wizard drawing board.  From the looks of his current spell, it could be good or bad, what do you think? :)

Oh, and I keep posting a week late, this drawing is for Topic 4. 

Villainous! Topic #5

Our next topic: Create a villainous character or environment; let's keep the genre unspecified so they could be a futuristic space horror (ex: Aliens, Hatcheries) to high fantasy (ex: Sauron, Mordor).

If you were to write a story for a game, movie, or novel what would the villain/boss/mini-boss of your story look like. Or a depiction of the lair and lands in which they dwell.

Jack

This is Jack. He is a melee/stealth character. He hunches down into his box when he is in the jungle doing stealthy stuff. During melee his arms serve as energy whips. He is able to spin in one location 180 degrees like a helicopter blade severing those who come across his path. (concept art still in progress but thought I'd post what I have)
Original Jack. I was working on a cel shaded version of this but felt the character could be pushed a little further. Same basic idea with his blades as the new Jack. I have another quick sketch character that I did which is a mad scientist. I'll post him up later after I scan him in.

Hex

Here's my take on a melee dps witch character. Spells would include hexing opponents into little frog minions. And she has a trusty frog companion Rupert along for the ride.

Old School Video Game reboot TOPIC #3

Hey All, so my idea for topic #3 is recreation/ your own version of Old school game character or world. Enjoy!!

My WIP, I'll probably finish it later.... maybe lol

I changed my mind on making evil Hermoine looking a bit older. Thought I'd do a comic book style approach instead. I may go back to update the painted one. Not sure at the moment.

An evil Hermoine that enlisted with Voldemort. This is still in-progress. I'll try to work on it some more this weekend.

Harry Potter is looking into the mirror and sees that he's slowly turning into a new Voldemort.

Update1: A little too big in scope lol, well here's the Voldy part of it in the process of being colored.

Went another direction than my original idea for an evil harry after watching the movie. They need more badass spells... Let me know what you guys think or better ideas for composition or placement.
